Muttaburra Oral History

Too often, the stories of older generations are not passed down to the young people and are forgotten. Recording and preserving these oral histories - the memories, stories and personal insights - gives us a more vivid picture of our past. It enables us to understand where we have come from and helps younger generations to define themselves in the context of their ancestors' times.
