Unlike other small communities, the decline has been stemmed and hopefully reversed with families being attracted to our town. Trades people from all walks of life are welcome and our community is especially interested in the following:

Muttaburra district would also like to see businesses established which could add value to local produce or establish new agricultural, horticultural or aquaculture activities. We have excellent communication services including ADSL internet and NextG mobile phone coverage.

There is potential to establish small manufacturing operations with an able labour force available in the area and plenty of land on which to develop your infrastructure. Why pay high prices on the coast when you can relocate to Muttaburra, pay low prices for your land, and have access by an inland road network to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin, Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane. Muttaburra has an airport with a sealed airstrip as well as a rail link to the coast from Barcaldine or Longreach.
