Died from Influenza, pneumonia

The Longreach Leader Friday 13 August 1926
The Muttaburra correspondent telegraphed: “A gloom was cast over the town last Friday when it became known that Mrs. J. Delaney had passed away. The deceased lady was an inmate of the hospital; an attack of influenza, developed to pneumonia and within a very short time of the first attack death ensued. The deepest sympathy is felt for the bereaved husband and family; the funeral was largely attended.
