PERSONAL
Mrs. Ada Johannah Swanson relict of the late Mr. J. S. Swanson of Birricannia Station, Prairie, passed away in Townsville on Saturday morning, aged 69 years.
A native of Kelmore Victoria, the deceased came to Charters Towers at an early age and after her marriage, resided with her husband on Nonda Downs. In 1908 they went to Barcoorah, in the Aramac district, and remained there until 1918 when her husband purchased Birricannia.
She is survived by two daughters, Mesdames T. Kendall, of Brisbane, and J. Ahern of Inveresk, Prairie, and two sons. John, of Muttaburra and Robert, of Prairie. Her husband predeceased her in 1943 and a son Fred in 1944.
Her remains were interred at Townsville on Saturday afternoon.
