MUTTABURRA
Morning Bulletin Friday 9 June 1939
The death occurred on the morning of June 1 at her residence of Mrs J. Ah Quee, sen., at the age of 92. Mrs Quee was one of the oldest residents of Muttaburra. Born at Blaken, Sweden, she had lived in Muttaburra for the past 49 years. She is survived by a family of seven daughters and two sons, her husband and one daughter having predeceased her several years ago. The deceased also leaves 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. The funeral, which was largely attended, left her residence for the Muttaburra cemetery. The burial service was conducted by Mr T. Willoughby.
