We were advised by ‘phone on Friday that Mr. Louis Alexandre Napoleon Marie de Robaulx, of Gelebele selection, in the Muttaburra district, had died rather suddenly after a short illness, at his home last Monday night. The deceased gentleman had been connected with Muttaburra for 25 years, and was one of the leading men of the town and district. He was born in Brussels, Belgium, 58 years ago. For many years he carried on a storekeeping business in Muttaburra, and took an active part in all public affairs.
Deceased leaves a grown-up family of three daughters and two sons to mourn their loss, and the sympathy of all will be extended to them in their sudden bereavement. We understand that paralysis was the cause of death. From our own personal knowledge of the late Mr. de Robaulx, we are sure his death will be very much regretted throughout the whole of the Muttaburra district.
