Daughter of Philip Solomon, merchant, and Sarah Phillips – born in Cape Colony, South Africa. Theresa was the cousin of Selina Sarah Harris [Solomon] who was married to the first Doctor in Muttaburra in 1880.

Philip and Sarah’s children were born in NSW, London, and South Africa. After his death in 1878 the remaining family members (including his wife Sarah nee Phillips) immigrated to South Australia

SOLOMON —On the 24th January, at Muttaburra, of apoplexy, Therese D. Solomon, beloved and youngest daughter of Mrs. Phillips, Canonbury Villa, Barton-terrace east, North Adelaide.

Dr Harris was attending doctor at the time of her death. She was buried in the Muttaburra Cemetery on the 25 January 1882, by C Clayton with B Samuels and W Wilson as witnesses. She had been in Queensland for about 4 years.
