A SUDDEN DEATH.
MUTTABURRA. June 5.
A man named Thomas Jones, a cook, in the employ of Mr. Harry Pare, Government surveyor in the Hydraulic Department, died suddenly yesterday morning at the Australian Hotel. At the inquiry this morning before Mr. T. R. Hall, J.P., it was ascertained that the deceased was about forty-five years of age and was an Englishman, having been born in London. The surveying party came from Aramac and was going to Maxwellton. The deceased had been drinking in Aramac, but did not appear to be doing so here. It was said he had been a solicitor. The inquiry was adjourned.
