Two deaths occurred at the local Hospital this week, one an old man, who died from general debility, and the other a young man named Christopher Prentice, who was thrown, from a horse and had his spine hurt about a week ago. A most remarkable coincidence occurred in the death of the latter. He was working with another young nun named Walter Bryden, as contract fencers. Both were strong healthy young fellows three weeks ago, when Bryden contracted La Grippe, &ud went to Rockhampton, where he died at exactly the same time as his mate breathed his last in the Muttaburra Hospital. Both were highly respected in the district as industrious straightforward men.
