It showed that, daring the month of August, four patients were admitted, two discharged, and four remained in the hospital. There were two deaths, namely, John Young and J. Ward. [The actual date is not known as there is no J Ward registered in Qld BDM only a Robert Ward who died on 27/08/1900.
