The many friends of Matt Healy were shocked to hear that he had been found dead in his bed at Bowen Downs on Sunday morning last. Matt had been suffering from influenza, but no one expected that the attack would prove fatal. He was a very fine character, and the country would be the gainer if a few more of his sort were to be found, as he was universally respected, and by his intimates very highly esteemed.
