Died from Cardiac failure due to pneumonia

Morning Bulletin Monday 23 November 1936
The death occurred in Muttaburra recently of Mrs Nora McCarthy, wife of Mr T. J. McCarthy, of the Exchange Hotel, Muttaburra. Deceased was 68 years of age and was born in County Clare. Ireland, and came to Muttaburra in 1886. In 1889 she was married to Mr T. J. McCarthy, and they had resided there ever since. There were five girls in the family, two of which – Mrs W. Bullen and the late Mrs. W. Johns predeceased their mother. Those surviving are Mrs T. R. Hall (Muttaburra), Mrs J. C. Ussher (Brisbane), and Miss E. McCarthy (Muttaburra). Deceased also leaves four sisters, Mrs Sam Clemesha (Zara, Hughenden), Mrs Clarke (Wondai), Mrs Manning (Longreach), and Mrs Coghlan (Rockhampton), and one brother, Mr D. Cuneen (Ireland).
