OBITUARY
MR. RICHARD GILLESPIE FORD
The death occurred in the Muttaburra Hospital on Monday of Mr. Richard Gillespie Ford (51). Deceased, who had been living with his brother on Bannockburn Station where they were employed, had been ill for a considerable time. He served in the First World War and suffered chronic invalidity as the result of war service. Deceased was one of four brothers well-known throughout the West during the past 40 years as drovers. He was born on Bowen Downs station where his parents obtained employment in 1885. The funeral took place on Monday to the Muttaburra cemetery. Rev. Father Bagley officiating at the graveside.
