OBITUARY
Mr. Thomas Frank White of Muttaburra passed away in the District Hospital on Sunday, 9th September, after an illness lasting nearly two years. The deceased, who had been a most respected and popular citizen is mourned by a large circle of friends. The late Mr. White saw nearly five years service in the A.I.F. and obtained some distinction as the most expert marksman of the 26th Infantry Battalion and in various inter-unit shooting matches. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Johnston and in the large cortege many ex-soldiers attended to pay their last respects to their honoured comrade.
